Marliese Mildenberger is a patient, caring, positive and energetic teacher, with over 20 years of experience teaching piano students aged 4 through 80 years old. Additionally, Marliese spent 11 years teaching chorus and general music at the Wesley School, a private school in North Hollywood. She is a member of the Music Teachers’ Association of California, with a number of her piano students having participated in the California Certificate of Merit program. Marliese is also a member of NAfME; the National Association for Music Educators.

IMG_0366 Marliese graduated summa cum laude from the State University of New York at Fredonia, with a B.S. degree in Sound Recording Technology and Applied Piano. During her time at the university, Marliese was a finalist in the 1987 concerto competition, the recipient of the 1987 Jessie Hillman Piano Merit Award, a member of the National Music Honor Society; Pi Kappa Lambda, and she completed an independent study of the Suzuki Method of piano teaching under Ms. Gillette.

Marliese had the good fortune to be able to study under some very fine teachers. These teachers helped to shape her life, and she will forever be grateful to them: Mrs. Phyllis East, Mrs. Sue Fay Allen, Mrs. Persis Vehar, Mrs. Gillette, Mrs. Lucille Richardson, and Mr. Stanley Mitchell.
